This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner on 22.06.2015 and investigate the same.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending before the All Women Police Station, Tiruttani, Tiruvallore District in C.No.94 of 2015.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tiruttani, Tiruvallore District, is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
