ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrayed as A4 in C.C.No.4172 of 2014 on the file of the III Fast Track Court, Saidapet, Chennai has filed this quash petition.

2. Today, when the case was taken up for hearing there is no representation for the petitioner as well as the respondent. 3.It is seen that proceedings were initiated on a private complaint filed by the respondent for offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. Further, from the Court website it is found that on 17.09.2018, the complainant had withdrawn the complaint pertaining to C.C.No.4172 of 2014 by filing a petition under Section 257 of Criminal Procedure Code. Recording the same, the learned Magistrate dismissed the complaint as withdrawn and disposed of the case.

4.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and hence, the same is dismissed.
