Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body and person of the detenue by name Shakila, W/o the petitioner herein, aged about 20 years who is in illegal custody of the 3rd respondent before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the body of the detenue namely Shakila, aged about 20 years and set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner/husband of the detenue.

The detenue/Shakila is present today. It appears that it is a registered marriage. The detenue has expressed her willingness to go with the petitioner.

Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.

Thus, we do not find any illegal detention involved in this case. However, we direct the respondents 1 and 2 to proceed with the investigation. In view of the apprehension expressed, we direct the respondents to provide adequate protection as and when required.

5. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
