This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct respondent to file charge sheet against the accused and file final report against the accused as expeditiously in accordance with law in connection with Crime No.23 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thudiyalur Police Station, Coimbatore District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint dated 14.01.2016 given by the petitioner, a case was registered in crime No.23 of 2016 and investigation is going on.

4. It is seen that the complaint was given only on 14.01.2016 to the respondent and without giving a breathing time to the respondent to investigate and file a final report, the petitioner has rushed to this court by filing the present petition.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed as premature.
