This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.858 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent-Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent herein/de-facto complainant, the first respondent-Police registered the FIR in Crime No.858 of 2024 against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 281 and 125(a) of BNS, 2023 and now, the investigation is over and charge sheet has been filed through e-filing vide No.LTN 20220002776C202500118 on 03.05.2025 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Perambalur. 2/4

4. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
