O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.VAIDYANATHAN,J) This contempt petition has been preferred seeking to punish the respondents for the alleged non compliance of the order dated 26.07.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.13315 of 2021.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st Respondent has produced the proceedings of the Tahsildar in Na.Ka.No.461/2022/A1 dated 04.08.2023, wherein it is stated that the papers have been forwarded to the Commissioner of Land Reforms for taking appropriate decision. The said proceedings was also communicated to the concerned District Collector and Revenue Divisional Officer.

3. Since, the order passed by this Court on 26.07.2021, has been complied with by the Tahsildar, we find that no contempt is made out.

4. In view of the same, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However, we expect the authority concerned, to take final decision, with respect to the subject matter in question, without any procrastination, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the 2nd Respondent. We make it very clear that in case any of the parties is aggrieved by the final decision, they are at liberty to challenge the same, in accordance with law. (S.V.N., J.)
