This petition is filed for quashing C.C.No.5 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Polur. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Public Prosecutor and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent.

3.A perusal of the record shows that the petitioners issued a demand draft for Rs.4,50,000/- to the second respondent on 01.04.2016 and the case was posted today for payment of balance amount.

4.Today, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the petitioners have paid the balance sum and since the second respondent received a total sum of Rs.7,00,000/-, he has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.5 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Polur. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 5.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the second respondent, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.5 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Polur, is hereby quashed.
