(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 13.06.2022 passed in W.P.No.12361 of 2022.

2. The learned Single Judge has rejected the writ proceedings mainly on the ground of latches. The approval petition filed by the appellant / Management was rejected by the Joint Comissioner of Labour in the year 2017. The appellant / Management slept over and instituted the writ proceedings in the year 2022, after a lapse of five years. Such a long delay in instituting writ proceedings against the workmen would cause prejudice to his interest and therefore, we do not find any infirmity in respect of the order impugned passed in the writ proceedings.
