The applicant has filed the above application seeking to take substituted service on the defendant.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the said application, the applicant has stated that the steps taken by them to serve the defendant has been unsuccessful and therefore they may be permitted to effect substituted service on the defendant by paper publication.

3. Considering the above submissions, the application is allowed. The applicant shall effect paper publication in one issue of "Mathrubhumi" having circulation at Kozhikode for the hearing date 05.10.2023. The paper publication shall be effected atleast 10 days prior to the date of hearing.
