ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.Kumarappan J.) The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to take action and to remove the encroachment in Vengal Periya Eri Canals situated at SF.No.445, 210, 245 and 257 at Vengal Village, Thiruvallur District.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader, on written instructions from the Tahsildar, would submit that the revenue authorities have already identified the encroachments and they have forwarded a report to the Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department and the Water Resources Organisation would take action in accordance with law.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The authorities are directed to proceed with in accordance with law to remove the encroachments as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
