The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to issue Patta in respect of his land in Survey No.363/11 measuring an extent of 658 sq.ft situated at Karaikadu Village, Kadalur, by considering his representation dated 14.08.2023.

2. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2023.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2023 on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. Pg.Nos.2/5

5. In the light of the limited scope of the matter and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, rival claimants and/or adjacent owners, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
