ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2021 seeking for compassionate appointment on account of the death of her mother on 10.12.2012 who was working as an Office Assistant in the Special Programming Implementation Department of the Secretariat for a period of eight months, due to sudden Heart Attack.
2. Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, she and her sister are the only legal heirs of the deceased. According to the petitioner, at the time of death of her mother, she was a minor and now she is eligible for compassionate 2/6
appointment. She has given a representation on 03.09.2021 seeking for compassionate appointment. Since the representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
4. Heard Mr.G.Veerapathiran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2021 seeking for compassionate appointment is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2021 seeking for compassionate appointment, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
