This petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife of the writ petitioner, seeking leave to file the above contempt petition for the alleged disobedience of the order of this court dated 25.03.2021 passed in W.P.No.7983 of 2014.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this court by order dated 25.03.2021, while disposing of the writ petition, directed the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders on merits touching each and every aspect, in the representation dated 26.11.2013 submitted by the writ petitioner / husband of the petitioner herein, within a period of eight weeks. However, the said direction has not been complied with by the respondent authorities, till date. In the meanwhile, the writ petitioner Pasupathy, died on 29.05.2021 and therefore, the petitioner, being the sole legal heir of the deceased, was constrained to file contempt petition, along with this petition seeking leave of this court.

3. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, this Court is inclined to grant leave to the petitioner to file contempt petition. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is ordered as prayed for.
