(This case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner for enabling her to enter into her matrimonial house and take all the materials belonging to her as per her representation dated 29.07.2019.

2. Heard Mr.R.Y.George Williams, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent. There is no representation on the side of the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent on instructions would submit that the first respondent police has not received the representation dated 29.07.2019 from the petitioner as alleged in this petition.

4. Hence, in view of the same, in the absence of any representation pending on the file of the first respondent, this Court cannot pass any positive direction in favour of the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent and if any such representation is received, the first respondent is directed to consider the same in accordance with law within a period of one months from the date of receipt of the said representation.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
