ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in respect of Crime No.72 of 2012 on the file of the respondent and file final report as early as possible or as the time fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.01.2012, a case has been registered in Crime No.72 of 2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 427, 506 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(ii) of IPC. However, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

4.Resisting the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation is going on and hence, he prays for two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

5.Considering the submissions made on both sides, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.72 of 2012 and file a final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
