O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his representation dated 22.05.2024 seeking issuance of patta in his favour in respect of the property premises in Survey Nos.146/1C, 120/3, 120/7, 118/1, 146/1A and 120/5, Guruvarajapalam, Vellore District.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the absolute owner of the above mentioned properties and hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 22.05.2024 seeking issuance of patta in his name and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has to submit a proper on-line application seeking patta and the same will be considered, on merits, in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the petitioner to submit on-line application seeking issuance of patta within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On filing such application, the respondent is directed to consider and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the interested parties, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
