(Order of the Court was made by Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to lay a concrete road on the northern side of the Panchayat street from west to east and to construct a sewage plant from north to south in the open drainage situated at East Street, Veeraganur Village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2023.
2. The learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that subsequent to the direction issued by this court in W.P.No.12664 of 2022, dated Page 2/4
22.09.2022, the encroachment made by the petitioner/fifth respondent in W.P.No.12664 of 2022 has been removed. He further submits that this writ petition has been filed to lay a road over the area from which the encroachment was cleared and that necessary action will be taken by the authorities for laying the road.
3. In view of the above submission made by learned State Government Pleader, the grievance ventilated by the petitioner stands redressed. The petitioner may approach the authorities concerned, if he has any other grievance. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There is no order as to costs.
