Prayer: This Second Appeal is filed under Section 100 of C.P.C, against the judgment and decree dated 08.01.2025 made in A.S.No.54 of 2023, on the file of the 1st Additional Judge City Civil Court, Chennai by confirming the judgment and decree dated 14.11.2022 made in O.S.No.6295 of 2017 on the file of the XVIII Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.

JUDGMENT

This Second Appeal is filed against judgment and decree dated 08.01.2025 made in A.S.No.54 of 2023, on the file of the 1st Additional Judge City Civil Court, Chennai, confirming the judgment and decree dated 14.11.2022 made in O.S.No.6295 of 2017 on the file of the XVIII Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. With the consent of both the parties the matter was referred to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras, for arriving at an amicable settlement between the parties. Accordingly, settlement was arrived at between the parties and a Mediation Report of the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras, along with a Settlement Agreement dated 19.02.2026 entered into between the parties, duly signed by both the parties and their counsels, is filed and the same is recorded.

3. The Second Appeal in S.A.No. 733 of 2025 is disposed of in accordance with the Settlement Agreement arrived at between the parties in the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras. The Settlement Agreement shall form part of the decree in 2/4

S.A.No.733 of 2025. No costs.
