This petition has been filed for modification of the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge at Salem, in C.M.P.No.2358 of 2023 1/4

dated 11.08.2023, to appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem daily at 10.00 am except holidays until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks modification of the order passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge at Salem, in C.M.P.No.2358 of 2023 dated 11.08.2023.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) filed a status report stating that pursuant to the order passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th accused are signing, however, the 1st accused/petitioner herein has not signed nor appeared before the respondent police and cooperated for the investigation.

4. The present petition is for modification of the condition by stating that petitioner is practising as an advocate before the Salem District.

5. Hence, liberty is granted to the petitioner to appear before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem and to explain his inconvenience and 2/4

the learned Judge shall consider the same and pass orders on the petition, if any filed, within a reasonable time.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
