ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to direct the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's property being vacant land situated in S.No.179/10, Adambakkam Village (Alandur), comprised in Ward G, Block 25, Town S.No.15, Parameshwaran Nagar, 1st Street, in ad measuring about 1156 Sq.ft situated within the Sub Registration District of Alandur and Registration District of South Madras.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection to enjoy his property in a peaceful and profitable manner. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition/complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
