ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to appoint the petitioner under compassionate ground in Nutritious Meal Programme Centre organizer or suitable post.
2.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner's father was working in Nutritious Meal Programme Centre in Kanur Government Higher School, Cuddalore and unexpectedly died on 04.02.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner has sent representation to the respondents 3 and 4 for appointment in the Noon Meal Centre on compassionate ground on 13.05.2016, but no action has been taken and thereafter, on 10.06.2020 the petitioner again sent another representation, but till date no orders have been passed. Hence, seeks direction of this Court.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 4th respondent submitted that as per G.O.Ms.No.163, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW2) Department, dated 18.08.2010, only Page No.2 of 4
women should get appointed in nutritious meal scheme, however, the application of the petitioner is pending and appropriate orders will be passed on merits.
4.In such view of the matter, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petitioner stands disposed of. No costs.
