ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein viz., Inspector of Police, CCB Land Grabbing Cell, to complete the investigation and file a final report in FIR No.85 of 2014.

2. In the petition, it is averred that on 5.5.2014, the petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Krishnan and others with the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.85 of 2014 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 read with 120(b) I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2014, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.85 of 2014 pending on his file and file a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
