By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the Respondent herein to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2025 and consequently, to direct the Employment Office to arrange any suitable employment for the Petitioner based on the Certificate dated 26.05.2007 issued to the Petitioner's father for preference in the Government Employment.

4. It is the submission of the petitioner that the petitioner's father has given land for the purpose of constructing burial ground for the Scheduled Caste Community people of Narasipuram Village and based on such acquisition, the Special Tahsildar (Adi Dravidar Welfare Department), Dharmapuri, has given letter of preference in employment in the year 2007. However, no preference had been given to either petitioner's father or their family. In this connection, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 14.05.2025 and such representation is pending with them.

5. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already the District Collector, Dharmapuri has considered the petitioner's representation and forwarded the same to the District Employment Officer, Dharmapuri.

6. Though the Additional Government Pleader would submit that the District Collector, Dharmapuri has already forwarded the representation of the petitioner to the 3rd Respondent/District Employment Officer, no final decision had been taken.

7. In view of the above factual position, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
