The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 23.11.2022 and to update the patta in the e-portal as regards her land comprised in Nos.810/6D2, 810/6B and 810 of 6C situated at Korattur Village, Ambattur Taluk.

2. According to the petitioner, the above said land belongs to her under sale deed dated 20.09.2001. After purchase by the petitioner, the mutation of revenue records had taken place and patta was issued in her name in Patta No.7508 by Deputy Tahsildar, Madhavaram Taluk on 24.09.2004, vide Proceedings No.TK.8A/1187/1414. 2/6

It is further stated by the petitioner that in the e-portal of Tamil Nadu Government pertains to E-Taluk services, the details of the revenue records with regard to the petitioner's property has not been properly updated. The petitioner enquired the revenue officials and she was informed that the petitioner's land falls under the category of "water body". Therefore, the petitioner submitted instant representation dated 23.11.2022 requesting the respondent to correct the entry in e-portal and restore the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in e-portal, the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has come by way of this writ petition.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on instruction submitted that on the field verification, it was found by the respondents, the subject land is not a water body and by mistake entry regarding S.No.810 was not included in the e-services. The learned Special Government Pleader seeks six months time to rectify the mistake and restore 3/6

the names of private patta holders in respect of land in S.No.810. The learned Special Government Pleader produced the written instruction dated 09.09.2024 and the same is scanned and reproduced below: 4/6

In view of the stand taken by the respondents without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2024 and pass final orders within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
