ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 21.09.2021 in WP.No.14598 of 2010, thereby this Court directed the respondent to pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2. Heard, Mr.M.Devaraj, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court the respondent passed order dated 21.01.2022 and complied with the order passed by this Court.

4. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was not given any opportunity of hearing while passing the order.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this contempt petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law.
