ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents 4 and 5 herein to provide adequate police protection for conducting Sakthi Karagam festival in S.No.272-1 of la-Koodalore-Seranthangal village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District.

2.Without going into the merits of the case, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 5th respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.07.2019 along with the counter parties namely, 6th respondent, after affording opportunity of hearing to both the parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in view of the documents produced by the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent.

3.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
