This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 147 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal against the award dated 01.07.2024 passed in M.C.O.P.No. 12 of 2014, on the file of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Addl. District Court (FTC), Kanchipuram.

2. Mr.C.Sathish, learned Government Advocate appeared for appellant submitted that due to inadvertence, though the copy of order was made ready on 09.09.2024, it was not collected by the official of their office and only during March 2025, they came to know about the disposal of claim petition and thereafter the appeal was filed on 29.04.2025, as a result of which, there is a delay of 147 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal arose, which is neither willful nor wanton. Therefore, he filed this petition to condone the delay in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, and the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit is justifiable one. Accordingly, this court is inclined to allow this petition.
