2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending proceedings in Crime No.337 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thirumulaivoyal Police Station, Ambattur, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioner have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the defacto complainant has also filed a compromise affidavit dated 12.09.2019 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in Crime No.337 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thirumulaivoyal Police Station, Ambattur is quashed. 4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by his dated 12.09.
2019, the entire proceedings in Crime No.337 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thirumulaivoyal Police Station, Ambattur is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
