ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records of the FIR in Crime No.261 of 2022 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 will not apply to this case on hand as the petitioner is not living on the earnings of the prostitution of any other person. 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) who has vehemently opposed granting any relief to the petitioner. 4.In view of the submissions raised at the bar, the further proceedings in the present case are dropped forthwith. Hence, the proceedings in Crime No.261 of 2022 is quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
