By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the petitioner's Representation dated 20.12.2024 and consequently direct the Respondents to regularize the service of the petitioners from the date of their initial appointment with give monetary benefits with all consequential benefits and arrears.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the 2/6
petitioners had been working in Adi Dravidar Welfare Department as Government Hostel Servant (1st Petitioner), Government Girls Hostel Servant (2nd Petitioner), Government Hostel Cook (3rd Petitioner), Government Boys Hostel (4th Petitioner) and Government Boys Hostel Cook (5th Petitioner). It is the further submission of the petitioners that the petitioners 1 and 2 have been regularised from their service with effect from 25.02.2011. However, they have joined duty on 01.09.2008, 01.09.2008, 26.08.2008, 27.08.2008 and 01.09.2008 respectively. Hence, they have given individual representation to the respondents on 20.12.2024 seeking regularisation with effect from their date of initial appointment and such representation is pending with the respondents. It is the further contention of the petitioner that the similarly placed persons have already been regularised.

At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that when the petitioners themselves were accepted the regularisation with effect from 25.02.2011, unless they challenged such regularisation, they cannot give any fresh representation. Hence, prayed to dismiss the writ petition.
6. I have given my anxious consideration to the submissions made on 3/6
either side.
7. Though there is a serious objection by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the fact remains that the petitioners' individual representation dated 20.12.2024 is pending with the respondents. When any representation is received, it is expected from the Authority concerned to respond to the same. Therefore, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' individual representation dated 20.12.2024 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
