This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned G.O.(D) No.944 Health and Family Welfare (1-2) Department of the 1st respondent dated 30.08.2013 and for a consequential direction to the respondent to sanction the terminal benefits with interest.

Heard Mr.A.R.Nixon, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Bindran, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents. 3.

In the considered view of this Court what has been challenged in the present case is the Government Order that was passed in the year 2013, which is nearly 11 years ago. There is absolutely no explanation as to why the petitioner all of a sudden approached this Court in the year 2024. The relief that 2/4

has been sought for in this writ petition is hit by latches and therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition and accordingly, the same stands dismissed. No costs.
