PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose petitioner representation dated 01.07.2024 and reminder dated 15.07.2024 and consequently demarcate petitioner properties and issue separate patta in petitioner name in Survey No.212/2A property situated at Karuthu Rajapalayam Village, Attur Taluk in accordance with law. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider his representation dated 01.07.2024 and consequently, to demarcate the petitioner's property and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of his property situated in Survey No.212/2A in Karuthu Rajapalayam Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.
2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner originally owned 12 cents of land in the above mentioned survey number and 6 cents of land 2/6
were acquired by the respondents. The remaining extent available with the petitioner, which is equivalent to 5.950 cents need to be measured and demarcated. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 18.08.2024 to the 2nd respondent seeking issue of patta in his name. The petitioner also paid necessary charges for survey of the above said land as seen from the E-Challan receipt bearing Challan No.20240620017342, dated 20.06.2024 enclosed in the typed-set of papers. However, the 2nd respondent has not considered the same. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted another representation on 01.07.2024 to the respondents seeking survey and demarcation of the property owned by the petitioner. The same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2024 will be considered by the 3rd respondent on its own merit within the time fixed by this Court. 3/6

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2024 and pass final orders on its own merit, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
