ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed to cancel the bail order dated 24.08.2023 made in Crl.M.P.No.21000 of 2023 in Crime No.161 of 2023 on the file of the Court of Sessions Judge at Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, victim suffered 170 stitches, due to the brutal attack made by the accused. There was a fracture in his skull, and a deep cut injury in right chin. He was not able to take anything orally for several days. However, without considering the extensive grievous injuries suffered by the victim, learned Sessions Judge, Chennai granted bail to the accused.

3. In the said circumstances, (i) This Court directs the learned counsel for the petitioner to file a petition for cancellation of bail before the learned Sessions Judge, Chennai narrating the aforesaid details.

(ii) On such filing of the petition, and on appearance of the 1st and 2nd respondents/accused, learned Sessions Judge, Chennai is directed to hear both the parties, and pass appropriate orders on merits, in accordance with law, within a week, from the appearance of the 1st and 2nd Page No.2/4

respondents herein/accused.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
