ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.11.2021 for the offence under 8 (c) 20 (b)(ii) (B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in in Crime No.554 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent police was on regular checkup, they found that the petitioner was in possession of 3 kgs of ganja. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case and prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner is having illegal possession of 3 Kgs of Ganja (Narcotic drugs). He further submits that there is a commercial quantity and eight previous cases pending against these petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there is a commercial quantity and considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed -sd/- 17/12/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
