This Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed to condone the delay of 215 days in filing Cross Objection in CMA No.2443 of 2016 is allowed as no serious objection has been raised by the learned counsel for the respondent.

2. This Court is also satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application. Accordingly, this CMP No.10243 of 2017 is allowed as prayed for. However, it is made clear by this Court that for the period of the delay, the petitioner/claimant shall not be entitled for any interest, if at all, this Court enhances the compensation in their favour.
