These petitions are filed seeking a prayer for early disposal of the pending writ petitions.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that when the land belonging to the petitioners were acquired, the acquisition proceedings were questioned before this Court. This Court quashed the entire acquisition proceedings by order dated 23.10.1991 in W.P. Nos.312 and 313 of 1985 etc. batch. Aggrieved by the same, W.A. Nos.1317 to 1320 of 1995 were filed and the same were dismissed by judgment dated 27.07.2001 which shows that the land acquisition proceedings were quashed and the same have become final and therefore, the petitioners are entitled to register the land in favour of any subsequent purchaser. Learned counsel for the petitioners would further submit that when the petitioners have approached before the Sub Registrar Office, they refused to register the land on the ground that the lands in question are subject matter of the land acquisition proceedings. 3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent have no objection for disposing the matters at the earliest.

vga 4.When land acquisition proceedings were already quashed by this Court, no one would be put to prejudice if the writ petitions are taken up at the earliest. Since the land acquisition proceedings were already quashed, this Court finds no impediment to take up the writ petitions at the earliest. Accordingly, these petitions are allowed.

5.Post the writ petitions on 17.01.2017.
