Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take possession of the acquired and land comprised at Pudur Vaniyambadi adhering to Road Over Bridge near Level Crossing No.82 and consequently directing the third respondent to lay the proposed service road after taking possession of the acquired land on war foot level.

2. Status report is filed by the respondents to the effect that the service road has been laid and drain work is also completed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, accepts the said fact.

In light of that, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
