ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under sections 76(1) of the Chit Funds Act in 1982 and 406 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No.2295 of 2021 seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused cheated the chit fund amount of Rs.28,60,000/- and Rs.21,00,000/- received from the defacto complainants by using the name and style of Andavar Enterprises Deepavali Pandu Cheetu and it is alleged that the petitioner had not repaid the amount to the defacto complainant and it is further alleged that all the accused were absconded.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no way connected with the occurrence as alleged by the prosecution and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there are totally 140 victims in this case and the investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that detailed investigation is needed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 23/12/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
