ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Page No.1 of 5

Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2024 and consequently, allow the petitioner to enter the College and attend classes regularly.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that, he was a student of the respondent college. Whileso, he was arrested by the law enforcing agency, since contraband was seized from the place where he was staying and thereafter, he was released on bail. However, thereafter, he was not allowed to enter the premises of the respondent college. Hence, he made a representation dated 13.08.2024 before the respondent college in order to continue his studies. Since the said representation was not considered by the respondent college, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition before this court for appropriate orders.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ Page No.2 of 5

petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2024 and allow the petitioner to enter the college and attend classes regularly, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2024 sympathetically and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
