By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to grant patta in his favour in respect of the property situated in Plot No.27, Kalaignar Karunanidhi Street, Mathiazhagan Nagar, Saligramam, Chennai600093 comprised in Survey No.93, T.S.No.136, Saligramam Village, Mambalam Taluk, Chennai District.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the above mentioned property from one Mariappan under a registered Sale Deed dated 07.02.1997. He submitted a representation before the respondents on 02.05.2024 seeking issuance of patta in his name and the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2024 will be considered by the 3nd respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/5
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
