ORDER

The petitioner made a representation dated 07.09.2016 before the respondents, seeking issuance of patta, for the land to an extent of 1070 sq. ft., situated at T.S.No.63, Block No.29 of Ayanavaram Village, Purasawakkam Taluk, Chennai District, based upon the sale deed dated 26.05.2008, registered as document No.1924/2008. As the said representation dated 07.09.2016 is pending before the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondents, to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 07.09.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
