Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the illegal digital banner / Hoardings / Scaffoldings erected in front of the petitioners' Property bearing Door No.879, MTH Road, Padi, Ward No.87, Zone No.7, Chennai - 600 050 and consequently direct the respondents to permanently prohibit erection of illegal digital banners/hoardings/placards in front of the petitioner property by strictly implementing the provisions of Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies permission for Erection of Digital Banners and Placard Rules, 2011 by considering the petitioners representation dated 12.09.2016.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for removal of illegal digital banner / Hoardings / Scaffoldings erected in front of the petitioners' Property bearing Door No.879, MTH Road, Padi, Ward No.87, Zone No.7, Chennai - 600 050, based on their representation dated 12.09.2016.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the said hoardings were already removed by the respondents and hence nothing survives in this writ petition.

3. In light of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
