(CR.NO.133/2021) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for further two weeks to surrender before the trial Court in Crl.OP.NO.11524 of 2021 dated 06.07.2021 on the file of Hon`ble High Court and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.DEEPAK KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.E.RAJ THILAK,Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time for further two weeks to comply the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.11524 of 2021, dated 06.07.2021.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to the pandemic situation that was prevalent, he was not able to surrender before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Salem. Therefore, he prayed for extension of time to comply with the order of this Court.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the petition, this Court is inclined to grant two weeks time for surrender. The petitioner is directed to appear before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Salem, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
