The petitioner herein is an accused in the proceedings U/s.138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The trial Court acquitted him and so was this Court and the same was confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. In the meantime, the petitioner herein had deposited the cheque amount of Rs.2 crores, and the Hon'ble Supreme has directed the complainant / respondent to re-deposit the amount before the Registrar General of this Court to enable the petitioner to withdraw it. This Court is now informed that the same has been done. The petitioner is now at liberty to withdraw the said sum from the Registry.

2.This Crl.M.P.No.12763 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.394 of 2022 stands closed accordingly.
