ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, challenging the impugned order passed by the respondent herein in his proceedings R.C.No.6776/A1/2015 dated 14.06.2016 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service within a time frame stipulated by this Court. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that he joined the Government Services as Junior Assistant on 21.06.1990 and he was promoted as Assistant in the year 2015. Subsequently, the petitioner was promoted as Superintendent and thereafter as Regional Officer in the year 2015. While so, on 14.06.2016, the petitioner was placed under suspension based on some audit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

objections for the period from 2013-2014 which relate to Cuddalore District from where the petitioner has already been transferred and posted to Nagapattinam District. But the copy of the Auditor's report has not been furnished to the petitioner in spite of his specific request. Further, till date no charge memo has been issued to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 18.08.2016 to review the suspension order and reinstate him into service and also to provide the copies of the Audit Objections. But, till date no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has approached this Court with this Writ Petition. 3.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the Writ Petition was filed seeking a positive direction, this Court is not inclined to give such a positive direction, however, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
