By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the property to an extent of 76 cents in Survey Nos.482/2A and 482/2D (old Survey No.482/2) situate at V.Boodhur Village, Villupuram Taluk, originally belonged to the mother of the petitioner and the same was gifted by her mother to her daughters, namely, Kasthuri, Poonjolai, Valarmathi and the petitioner herein, by way of registered Gift Deed dated 09.01.2006 and they took possession of the entire property and are now enjoying the same without hindrance from any quarters. The petitioner submitted an application for making sub division and for issuance of joint patta, as early as on 21.12.2015, before the respondent, with a representation, requesting the respondent to make sub division in respect of the said land and to issue patta. The petitioner was directed to pay a sum of Rs.80/- towards measurement charges and the same was paid by the petitioner. However, the respondent did not come forward to measure the land.Hence,the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 21.12.2015 made by the petitioner.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
