O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.524/2010 dated 27.02.2020 and Na.Ka. No.524/2010/A dated 28.10.2013 and decide the same on merits and to pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a stipulated time and communicate the same to the first respondent to issue Patta in favour of the petitioners.

2.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners, based on their long possession sought for issuance of patta and the second respondent also initiated necessary proceedings, however, the same has not yet been concluded. Hence, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that this Court may issue direction to the second respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.524/2010 dated 27.02.2020 and Na.Ka.No.524/2010/A dated 28.10.2013 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.524/2010 dated 27.02.2020 and Na.Ka. No.524/2010/A dated 28.10.2013, if not already concluded and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
