ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner in order to fence the subject property based on the representation made by the petitioner on 12.07.2023.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent in CSR No.460 of 2023 and it was closed on 15.07.2023 stating that as and when the Revenue authority seeks for such a request for police protection, the same will be granted.

In the light of the above submission, whenever the survey is sought to be conducted by the Revenue authorities, they shall seek for police protection to the second respondent and based on the same, the second respondent shall provide police protection to ensure that the survey is conducted without giving raise to any law and order problem. It goes without saying that the revenue authorities will conduct the survey based on the title documents of the petitioner.
