The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents either to close or construct the newly digged channel in front of the petitioner's shop comprised in S.No.74/3A1 of Ammapalayam Village, Perambalur Taluk and District within the time fixed by this Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the first respondent had made a dig with a depth of 6 feet in front of the petitioner's shop, however, it has not yet been constructed or closed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the open space will be filled up with mud, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
