Prayer:- Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondents to register the First Information Report based on the complaint preferred by the petitioners dated 13.02.2016 against the accused Gobikrishnan and the accomplices by conducting an
enquiry and further to act as per law.
For Petitioners :Mr.H.Prosper for Mr.J.Karthik in all CrlOPs For Respondents :Mr.C.Emalias Additional Public Prosecutor in all CrlOPs COMMON ORDER Seeking directions to the respondents to register an FIR based on the complaint preferred by the petitioners dated 13.02.2016 against the accused, the petitioners have come up with these petitions.
2.When the matter came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that there were several complaints filed against one Gobikrishnan and in fact, a case in Crime No.21 of 2016 on the file of K-8, Arumpakkam Police Station, for offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), and 506(i) IPC has been registered. That apart, several complainants have approached the Commissioner of Central Crime Branch, Chennai, for making allegations against the said Gobikrishnan and all the complaints have been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing, Guindy, Chennai.
Under such circumstances, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed with liberty to the petitioners to approach the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Guindy, Chennai and lodge a complaint and on receipt of the same, the same shall be enquired along with other complaints and take action in accordance with law.
